The behind the scenes of "Us" had so much preparation going into it and all of the takes that they had to take to get the right shot, another thing that they had to do was always give new instructions after every scene if it didn't go right which I found was just difficult to constantly make a critique about a scene and the actors sometimes had trouble doing this but in the end they eventually came through and got it right. Another thing that they had to do was make the doppelgänger counter parts really come to life and make the movie what it is and the way they did, it didn't seem difficult but it was interesting how they did it and what they had to do in preparation for it. They also needed to wait a lot because many scenes had different costumes and different time of day or setting and different props so it was difficult for them to make things look how they wanted and would usually have to bring in equipment to fix up the scenes that they were doing.

The actors also said that they felt a sense of comfort around the set and the way they directed the movie it was very easy for them to just act. Jordan Peele also liked to really try and get the actors into their roles by constantly talking them up after takes and really making specific things to help the actors understand what they are needed to do and that really helped the get into character and really do their "best work" on this film. I would like to work on a film set and not really care about what I did, I would just want to be on set just to experience first hand what its like and what really goes into and a film and things that go wrong that people would never know by just watching behind the scenes and interviews. Also in the way they shot the film Jordan Peele used a lot of natural lighting and things that were not setup to shoot to get a really sleek look, which I found very interesting because there is so much that could go wrong or stall the movie in some ways. Also back to the doppelgänger scenes, the actors found it very taxing to film as both characters in the same day because of the mental state that they had to get into, "we had to go to a really dark place" and the. later have to switch from that to a normal person and that was very difficult and un comfortable sometimes for the actors but they overcame it.
